Students of the Department's Educational Programs Win the All-Ukrainian CFA Ethics Challenge 202617 April 2026р.

On April 16, 2026, students of the "Investment Management" and "Corporate Finance" educational and professional programs took part in the Ethics Challenge 2026 organized by the CFA Society Ukraine, the Association of Investment Professionals.

The annual Ethics Challenge competition brings together proactive youth majoring in economics from the best universities of the country to solve a practical case study and analyze ethical dilemmas using the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

The competition brought together 86 participants and 18 teams from 7 universities of Ukraine.

Two teams of students from the "Corporate Finance" and "Investment Management" educational and professional programs presented solutions to ethical dilemmas in the financial sector with detailed reasoning and recommendations.

A well-deserved victory went to the team of students from the "Investment Management" educational program (team leader Yelyzaveta Misiats, as well as Daryna Kurbatska, Dmytro Skachkov (educational and professional program "Public Policy and Strategic Communications Management") – advisor Professor Volodymyr Orestovych Romanyshyn), which became the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition Ethics Challenge 2026!

Another team of the "Corporate Finance" educational and professional program (team leader Yuliia Plakhotniuk, as well as Ivanna Baranchuk, Anna Radiuk, Vladyslav Khyzhyi, Anastasiia Vlasenko – advisor Associate Professor Inna Mykolaivna Sviderska) became a strong competitor and worthily represented the University and the Department of Corporate Finance and Controlling!

The competition promotes the global mission of the CFA Institute and high standards of professional ethics in the field of finance and investment. For students, it is a great opportunity to develop critical and analytical thinking, teamwork, and the art of presenting their own views on professional ethics.
