The research work of the Department of Banking and Insurance is carried out according to research topics.

The results of the research activity of teachers are writing scientific monographs, preparing scientific papers, PhD and Doctoral dissertations, and other types of research work, such as participation in a scientific seminar, organization of students' scientific work, in particular, preparation of publications, participation in conferences, competitions of scientific works.  

The Department offers postgraduate and doctoral programs.

Priority areas of research of the Department correspond to the areas of work of the scientific schools of «Monetary and Credit Relations»and «Insurance»and provide scientific research of the academic staff of the Department, bachelor's, master's, PhD and doctoral students.

The Department's lecturers actively participate in scientific conferences held both at KNEU and in other educational, banking and insurance institutions.
