We invite you to participate in the work of the

International Scientific and Practical Conference

"INTERNATIONAL NETWORK COOPERATION IN OVERCOMING THE CONSEQUENCES OF ARMED CONFLICTS: THE CASE OF UKRAINE"

The purpose of the event is the creation of a multidisciplinary communication platform of representatives of human rights institutions, law enforcement agencies, the scientific community, civil society institutions, as well as other stakeholderswho are involved in the procedures of recordingand assessing damages, formation of the right of claim and appeal for compensation for damage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The main thematic directions of the Conferenceare the following:

• culpable actions of the aggressor and the damage caused: causality as a necessary condition of the evidentiary basis of the investigation of war crimes and consideration of a civil lawsuit;
• topical issues of the unification of approaches to the formation of the right to demand compensation for damage caused as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
• improvement of international and national legal procedures for applying for compensation for damage caused as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
• expert provision of justice in cases of compensation for damage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine;
• problematic issues of implementation and application of special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) at the national and international levels;
• the problem of forming a source of compensation for damage at the expense of "frozen" assets, persons who finance terrorist conflicts and directly participate in armed conflicts.
• private companies and individuals as accomplices of the aggression of the Russian Federation: the causal relationship between actions and damage, their property as a source of compensation for damage caused by aggression;
• international cooperation during the investigation of war crimes.

The form of the event: the conference will be held in the format of live communication,as well as online participation on the ZOOM platform.The event will be broadcast on a separate YouTube channel.The conference program and the link for participation will be sent to registered participants additionally.

                                                from 16:00 -22:00 (Kyiv time)

Everyone who wishes to take part can register, send abstracts, and take part in an online conference.

Also, it is planned the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Washington in order to actively find solutions to the goal of the conference: Bringing to property responsibility those who unleashed a bloody war in Ukraine and continue to destroy the people of Ukraine.

To ensure the departure of a delegation of leading experts, scientists from leading research institutions, and lawyers, funds are needed to finance their trip to the United States.

Anyone who wishes to join the process of bringing the aggressor to justice is invited to take a feasible part both in financing and in expressing their position by sending the text of abstracts to the Collection of the Conference Theses, which will be published as a result of the Conference.
